Dr. Richard Tapia
Richard Tapia is a mathematician and professor in the Department of Computational and Applied Mathematics at Rice University in Houston, Texas. He is internationally known for his research in the computational and mathematical sciences and is a national leader in education and outreach programs.

RGVCTM would like to recognize the South Texas College (STC) Mariachi for their excellent performance at the 50th Annual RGVCTM Mathematics Conference on November 7, 2015.  RGVCTM appreciates the support of STC and these students in making this gathering a fun learning experience for the teachers.
